Run your charity’s Facebook Page

Facebook’s charitable/fundraising tools require verified 501(c)(3) status.
You created the Page in the personal Facebook guide. Now make it work for the charity using Meta Business Suite — roles, scheduling, insights, and nonprofit fundraising tools.
Manage the Page through Business Suite, not personal posts
Meta Business Suite is the organization’s control room: it separates the charity’s Page from your personal timeline, lets several people manage it by role, and unlocks scheduling, insights, and donation tools.
- 1
Open Meta Business Suite
Go to business.facebook.com and connect the charity’s Page. This is where you’ll post, schedule, reply to messages, and see insights.
- 2
Assign Page roles
In Settings → Page access, add at least one more person with full control and others with limited roles as needed, so the Page survives any one account being lost.
- 3
Turn on nonprofit fundraising tools
Once the charity is recognized, enroll in Meta’s charitable/fundraising tools so supporters can donate directly through the Page and your campaigns.
- 4
Schedule consistent posts
Use Business Suite’s scheduler to keep a steady stream of on-brand updates (built from your Canva templates), and review Insights to see what resonates.
Common questions
Do I manage the Page from my personal Facebook?
You sign in as yourself, but you manage the charity through Meta Business Suite, which keeps the Page separate from your personal timeline and lets you add co-managers by role.
Can supporters donate through the Page?
Yes, once the charity is a verified 501(c)(3) you can enable Meta’s fundraising tools so people donate directly via the Page and campaigns.
